Paediatric Osteopathy

Our Babies & Childrens Clinic takes place on Wednesday afternoons and is run by Abby Mulholland M.Ost DPO, an experienced osteopath who also holds a postgraduate diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy. Abby has worked at several busy clinics in London, including the well known Osteopathic Centre for Children, before moving to Cornwall and joining us here in Camborne.

At the first consultation Abby will take a detailed case history followed by a careful assessment to establish whether osteopathic treatment is right for your baby or child – be reassured that osteopaths are trained to screen for medical conditions and will refer to another health professional such as your GP when necessary.

If your baby or child might benefit from osteopathic treatment Abby will explain what she has found and how osteopathy might help. The treatment will be mostly “hands on” – techniques used on babies and children are extremely gentle, will usually include cranial osteopathy, and are suitable for any age of children including newborn babies. Abby also has a wealth of experience in working with children with disabilities and learning difficulties.
